He received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Srinagar, India in 2011, M.Tech. degree in Control and Instrumentation from the DTU, Delhi, India in 2013 and PhD in Sensorless Control of Electric Drives from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, India in 2016.
His research interests include Electrical drives, robotics, non-linear control theory and intelligent control systems.
